Visitors to radiological designated areas are often escorted. It is important that they are aware of the radiological hazards that may be present in these areas and understand the types of control measures that should be followed before entry.

This training course material is aimed at employees of companies that do not normally work in radiological designated areas who have not been inducted by a radiation employer into the arrangements at the site concerned.
A course handout is provided and this contains all of the slides used in the training package.
Every delegate will be given access to the course material for 6 months from the date of enrolment.
There is about 80 minutes of video content in this course. It is expected that this training course will take around 1.5 hours to complete for most delegates.
There is an online examination at the end of this course. Upon successful completion of this training, a digital credential (certificate) will be issued by email to the delegate for their records.
