Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q. What is online learning like?

A. An online training course covers the same material that you would receive at an in person training course however it is delivered in a consistent manner. All delegates get the same experience but you have the freedom to complete the training course on days and times that suit you. You will have tuition and be expected to participate in the course activities such as quizzes, assignments and assessments.

Q. Can I access the course whenever I want and do I need to complete it all in one go?

A. Delegates are given access to their training course for up to 6 months from the date of enrolment onto the course. Delegates can access their course whenever they want to during this time. Delegates do not need to complete the entire course in one go. Delegates can log in as many times as they wish and gradually complete the course at times that suit their own schedule.

Q. Are there any  pre-requisite requirements to take your courses or sign up with your website?

A. No. All of our online training courses have no specified pre-requisites. The courses all aim to provide an appropriate level of tuition and assumes no prior knowledge by the delegates.

Q. What language(s) are your courses provided in?

A. All of our courses are prepared and presented in English (UK). Some courses have English and Welsh sub-titles available during video presentations however to benefit from all of our current courses the delegates should have a good understanding of the English language.

Q. Can I learn at my own pace?

A. Yes. One of the great benefits of online learning is that you can replay videos/lectures and repeat the course exercises until you are happy that you understand the material.

Q. How long does each course take?

A. In the course description information provided for each of our courses we have provided an estimate of how long that particular course is anticipated to take. Some delegates take less time than that stated but others take longer as they are learning at a pace that suits them.

Q. How do I access my course?

A. You are reading this FAQ on our radiation training online website, so please just click on “Sign in” and you will be taken to a page with all of your currently available courses to access. Q. Do I get a certificate or evidence of completing your training when I have successfully finished the course?

A. Yes. All of our paid courses have an assessment at the end of them and upon successful completion of the assessment you will be automatically issued with a digital credential (or certificate). This digital credential will be sent to your registered email address and you can then download it or print it out for your records.

Q. I’ve got my digital credential (certificate) for completing my course however there is an error in my name on the certificate. Can this be corrected?

A. Yes. The name that is shown on the digital credential (certificate) is linked to how your name was enrolled onto our learning management system and it is possible to adjust your name on the certificate. Please open your digital credential online (not a downloaded copy of it) and there is an action option available to you to request a change in name shown on the credential. Please enter the name as you want it to be shown and submit it for approval. The digital credential is reissued, after we have approved it, with the amendment shown.
